Tim Weis is an Industrial Professor in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Alberta. He also serves as the Executive Director of Electricity Research in the Centre for Applied Business Research in Energy and the Environment (CABREE) in the School of Business where he is examining Alberta’s changing electricity market. Tim is a professional engineer whose career has focused on renewable energy technical and policy research at national, provincial and municipal levels. Prior to joining the University he most recently served as an advisor to Alberta’s Minister of Environment and Parks on climate change policy.
