As an expert analyst of wind turbine operating data, Nigel is particularly passionate about the development of numerical algorithms to measure and optimize wind energy production.
Unwavering in his attitude of neutrality, Nigel discretely harbours remarkable scientific rigour and proud artistic talents. Actively engaged in wind energy research for the past several years, he works on projects relating to a variety of topics ranging from ice detection and production losses to blade inspections and repairs.
Nigel works with local and international clients that build and operate wind turbines varying in size from several kilowatts to several megawatts. Furthermore, he has delivered a number of presentations to academic and industrial audiences.
Nigel holds a Master’s degree in wind turbine aerodynamics from the University of Waterloo.
